The most persecuted people in the world? Christians

The West has become a narcissistic ego-driven society with a ‘look at me, me, me’ victim mentality which permeates every part of our society. After successfully installing ridiculous trigger warnings at our universities, post-Liberals, in a twisted homage to the practices of Isis and the Taliban, are now tearing down statues of those deemed too politically incorrect to be seen. The increasing narcissistic and self-indulgent focus on sex and gender has also delegated real human rights concerns to the bottom rung of the victim ladder.

Most of us are grown-up enough not to attack a person on the basis of race, religion, or sexual preferences, despite what our authorities think. Sexual preference and how one likes to dress is part of a freedom of choice which we need to have in a civilised society. But there is something terribly wrong when made-up conditions such as ‘transphobia’ transcend genuine human rights concerns.

The West is built on tolerant and compassionate Judeo-Christian values. But this ethos, this foundation of our society, is being eradicated. While Westerners cosset themselves in a combination of victimhood and appeasement of fascism, the people the West should be concerned about – persecuted Christians – are neglected. Western useful idiots, who are able to do what they like because of our Judeo-Christian heritage they seek to destroy, ignore the murderous rampages of Islamists, despite the fact that these monsters are oppressing Christians and would not think twice about slaughtering them, too. Christians are the most persecuted group of people in our world today, yet are forgotten in favour of invented victim groups.

Open Doors is an organisation which monitors global persecution of Christians. At the top of its watch list of guilty states is the Left’s new darling, North Korea, followed by Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Sudan.
