In this special podcast, Canon Phil summarizes the current events in today’s Anglican Communion. The past few months have seen some significant occurrences that will affect the Church’s future: the conclusion of Lambeth Conference 2022, the appointment of a homosexual dean for Canterbury Cathedral, the Global South and Gafcon’s responses, the consecration of four new bishops for Europe outside of Canterbury’s authority, and the transference of Abp. Felix Orji of Nigeria’s diocese to the ACNA. All of these events illustrate the state of the Communion, the Global South, and Gafcon.

How do these events relate to one another and the larger Anglican experience? Is there a movement towards somehting greater or towards greater decline in global Anglicanism? What’s the difference between the Global South and Gafcon and how are they working together?
