Anglican Unscripted 471 – CofE K-Mart Blue Light Special

Kevin Kallsen and Bishop Gavin Ashenden discuss so-called hate speech and the loss of freedom of speech, together with the knock-on effect on financial support of those who do not support progressive values.  Also discussed is the Gafcon Chairman’s Epiphany letter, which they find underwhelming – too little, too late, indicating no likelihoo of institutional repentance.

Below too are links of some videos of Bishop Gavin from 2018 –

The first is a video interview by Rod Liddle on the heterodoxy of the sermon given at the Royal Wedding by the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. The second is an op-ed piece commissioned by the Daily Telegraph on the partisan socialism being promoted by the Archbishop of Canterbury in place of the Good News of the Gospel. The third is an interview on BBCs Newsnight on the trouble caused by again by the Archbishop of Canterbury  seeking to distance himself from language describing God has our “Father in heaven’ as he identifies with the progressive movement that looks at the world through identity politics and attacks  ‘patriarchy’ and masculine imagery.
