Britain 2026: Where It’s Open Season on Jews

Today, April 23, 2026, Britain woke to footage of a vicious antisemitic assault that feels ripped from Europe’s darkest chapter. The video, likely captured on April 20 in Slough, shows a visibly Orthodox Jewish man—working quietly in someone’s front garden on Elliman Avenue—being verbally and physically attacked by a stranger who accused him of “killing kids in Palestine.”

The victim was minding his own business, doing honest manual labor most likely to support his family—the very sort of decent, hard-working Briton who built and sustains this country. He wasn’t protesting. He wasn’t political. He was simply Jewish and therefore, in the attacker’s eyes, guilty by blood. Terrified, the man denied the absurd charge: “No, no, I haven’t killed anything.” His voice cracked with genuine fear for his life. The assailant—appearing to have foreign origins—was unmoved. He hurled slurs including “dirty motherf***ing Jew” and “baby killer,” lunged at the victim, and tried to smash the phone recording the attack. Only the victim’s desperate recording preserved the evidence.

This is not an isolated “incident.” This is open season. The date of the footage’s emergence is eerily symbolic. Exactly eighty-eight years earlier, on April 23, 1938—just weeks after Nazi Germany’s annexation of Austria—hundreds of Viennese Jews were rounded up at the Prater, Vienna’s popular public amusement park in the city’s 2nd district. On the Sabbath, in full view of jeering crowds, they were publicly humiliated and assaulted. Men, women, the elderly and the young were forced to eat grass, made to run in circles until they collapsed from exhaustion, and beaten mercilessly. Heart attacks claimed several lives on the spot. The Prater became a theater of cruelty, where ordinary Austrians cheered the degradation of their Jewish neighbors.
