Call for Prayer by Indian Christians.   Sunday August 9th

Indian Christians are asking for prayer this Sunday prior to the Indian Parliament considering legislation that would result in the assets of Churches and Christian NGOs being seized retrospectively.

The narrative is that the registrations under FCRA ( The Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) are cancelled on account of foreign money being allegedly used for ‘conversion’ and activities affecting national security, and that Christians are agents of foreign countries to destabilise the nation.

Indian Christian leaders have approached the Indian Government and are asking for prayer as the Parliament session this coming week debates the issue.

Let us join our Christian brothers in India and pray for this matter on Sunday August 9
