A significant meeting with the pope restoring the expectation of the renewal of Catholic ethical teaching on sexuality.
In 1977, when I started my time at Anglican theological College (the equivalent of the seminary), one of the students there was a man called Martin Hallett. Martin was a gay man who was committed to a life of chastity. He was to found an organisation called “True Freedom Trust” to help others to do the same. I didn’t know at the time that this pattern of sacrificial living would become such a powerful antidote to the hedonism of the hedonistic agenda of the LGFBTQI culture that was about to break like a tidal wave on the heteronormativity of what remained of Western Christian culture. I came to deeply respect Martin and his work. This week, the Catholic version of the same vision came to Rome.
During this last week, Pope Leo welcomed a group called ‘Courage’, Catholic and American, who shared the same goals and vision. We heard little of this. Once again, the propagandists from the Left make every use of photo ops when Fr James Martin meets the pope. We need to do the same when he welcomes faithful, chaste Catholic activists and gives them his blessing.

Here is an account of their meeting:
