In a world that leaves men behind, the time is ripe for the overthrow of feminism’s tyranny, claims Eric Conn, founder of New Christendom Press and host of the Hard Men Podcast.
At the 2025 Right Response Conference, Conn asserted that America is under an iron fist of women-dominated Human Resources departments and public schools. These women constitute an “enforcement army” for leftist ideology, including cancel culture and DEI, Conn assessed.
The podcaster terms this phenomenon the “Longhouse,” referring to “a female-ruled and a female-normed society.” Conn drew the term “Longhouse” from the shape of traditional Native American houses which he said were subject to matriarchal rule. The Longhouse is characterized by heavily policed speech, the affirmation of others’ feelings and an overemphasis on safety.
According to Conn, the Longhouse has infiltrated not only secular institutions, but also conservative, evangelical communities. Conn alleged that women-majority staff run Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition and the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Conn accused prominent conservative figures of tolerating gay marriage, condoning pornography and supporting women in the military. He claimed conservatives also enforce standards for hate speech and keep certain discussions off of the table.
“We need to confront the ways in which the conservative movement is the Longhouse in a skinsuit,” Conn insisted.
Furthermore, Conn jabbed that evangelicals have nullified male headship in the home by promoting the idea of servant-leadership.
