On both slavery and mass immigration, the British government is trashing Britain’s identity
Yet again, Britain has advertised the fact that it’s a world leader in promoting cultural suicide.
This week, Andy Burnham’s Labour government displayed its contempt for Britain’s identity while tendentiously trashing its history.
While Burnham defamed his country by misleadingly singling it out as historically culpable for slavery, his government was adding to the vast demographic changes with which mass immigration is destroying Britain’s historic culture.
As King Charles undertook a diplomatically challenging tour of the Caribbean where resentment at Britain’s colonial past has bubbled to the surface, his Prime Minister chose to whip the ground from underneath the King’s feet by declaring his intention to consult with former British colonies about an apology for slavery.
This is the kind of ignorant and distorted attitude one might expect from students indoctrinated into hatred of the west, not from Britain’s Prime Minister. All countries and cultures have practised slavery since the dawn of time. Britain certainly was part of a slave trade; but it was Britain that subsequently led the way in ending it.
