Facebook apologizes for accidental restrictions on Bible study website

Facebook said the content had erroneously been flagged as ‘low-quality’.

Facebook is reportedly apologizing this week after accidentally restricting the ability to share content from the Bible study website Biblehub.com.

Users posted complaints on social media and British YouTuber Paul Joseph Watson posted a controversial video titled “Facebook bans Bible passages” on Jan. 25 that garnered more than 50,000 views.

“We’ve since corrected this and BibleHub.com content can now be shared. We apologize for this error,” the tech giant told Newsweek on Wednesday.

Facebook and Bible Hub did not immediately respond to FOX Business’ request for comment.
