How can polite, ‘liberal’ society STILL turn a blind eye to the ignored victims of grooming gangs?

Recently, one of the criminals from the Rochdale grooming gang was seen out shopping, close to where some of his victims still live – six years after being told he would be deported to Pakistan.

I can only imagine the trauma those young women will be experiencing because of the possibility that they might see this man at any time in the street.

In 2012, the shocking story of endemic child sexual exploitation in towns and cities across England was brought to the public attention when nine men were jailed for a serious of heinous sexual offences.

The men had abused countless girls, many as young as 13, in Rochdale, and were finally caught thanks to the bravery of the survivors. In sentencing the men, the judge said they had ‘treated the girls as though they were worthless and beyond respect’.

Unfortunately, so had some police officers, social workers and members of the liberal elite who turned a blind eye to what was going on, perhaps because the victims are overwhelmingly working-class and, as far as many of the police and social workers are concerned, from ‘bad families’.

Some of the girls were in care, some of had been neglected at home, but all of them were worth every bit as much as their middle-class counterparts.
