Human Rights Campaign and Southern Baptist Convention – did they make a deal in 2014?

from English Manif:

There is a lot of disturbing news out there, which I wish I did not have to discuss. I discuss it, because I must, in the video below. The news involves the Human Rights Campaign and the Southern Baptist Convention.

As I explain in the video below, in October 2014, semi-secret meetings between the Human Rights Campaign and the Southern Baptist Convention took place. At that time, statements by certain Baptist leaders signaled a “shift” on homosexuality and a sign that the Baptist leadership would partner with gay activists in banning conversion therapy for gays in Baptist churches.

Four years later, we have a field guide published by the Human Rights Campaign encouraging activists to infiltrate evangelical churches including those of the Southern Baptist Convention, to push Christians to abandon the Biblical view on sexuality and replace it with a heretical homosexual identity politics that adopts a thin veneer of scriptural reference.

There is also a film “Boy Erased” starring Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman, which promises to give crass, two-dimensional stereotypes of a Baptist family forcing their suffering gay son to endure torture as part of “conversion therapy.”

We need the leaders of the Southern Baptist Convention to come clean about what they promised the Human Rights Campaign in October 2014 so that we can proceed with confidence in our leaders. See the following articles:
