Our campaign against same-sex marriage test for teachers is rattling opponents

from Coalition for Marriage:

Last May we exposed Government draft guidance which would have introduced a same-sex marriage test for teachers. There was a huge response to the consultation from C4Mers.

Now, it seems, opponents are worried that the Government might be listening.

Last week, sex education lobbyists begged Education Secretary Damian Hinds not to “dilute” the advice. The Government hasn’t published its final guidance. No surprise. It’s a hot potato issue. But clearly the likes of the Sex Education Forum are worried. They’ve cobbled together a rainbow alliance of LGBT supporters in an effort to get the Government to stick with what they’ve got.

Because of the pressure that you and others put on ministers, there’s still hope that teachers will be protected.
