Sweden Convicts Salwan Najem for His Assassinated Friend Momika’s Criticism of Islam.
Salwan Najem lives in constant fear, marked for death just like his friend, yet Sweden—having already failed to protect Momika—now abandons him to the same fate without a second thought.
Sweden has once again shown its utter contempt for free speech, justice, and the principles of a free society. The Stockholm District Court has now sentenced Salwan Najem, not for his own actions, but for the words of his murdered friend, Salwan Momika—a man gunned down in what can only be described as a Sharia-style assassination.
Salwan Najem has been convicted not because he personally insulted the Islamic prophet Muhammad but because he didn’t distance himself from statements Momika made during their Quran-burning protests in 2023. Think about that: Najem’s “crime” is not disavowing his friend’s words. Even Sweden’s own legal experts have admitted that the court “lumped together” Momika’s words with Najem’s—punishing him for things he never even said.
This is the Orwellian reality Sweden has embraced, where silence is treated as guilt, and association with dissenters is a punishable offense.
