The Bible, sexuality and the Church of England (with Q&A)

A talk by William Taylor, Rector of St Helen’s Bishopsgate, followed by Q&A.

“The aim is for us…to get clear on where we are going, given the increasing drift of the Church of England…

…If we do promote same-sex sexual relationships, we enter into heretical understandings of humanity, who we are; of the Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and of the Church and our relationship to Christ…

…Furthermore, by failing to call for repentance where God calls for repentance in the gospel, we change the gospel itself…”

After giving a number of examples of ‘relentless’ acceptance and promotion of the LGBT agenda from Church of England leadership, Taylor continues:

“In one sense, to St Helens, what the Church of England does or believes is irrelevant.”
