Whose organs are they anyway?

by Laura Perrins, The Conservative Woman:

WE have discussed at length the law on organ donation and how it was morally wrong to change it to ‘deemed consent’. In fact for Parliament to ‘deem’ that everyone has now consented to donating their organs upon death without any evidence to prove that this is the case is a breach of the natural law. But the Conservatives don’t care about such matters, so they went ahead and changed the law anyway. The State will now ‘deem’ that you consent to donating your organs after death unless you have told them otherwise. This will not come into effect until 2020.

I note that this massive change in the relationship between the State and the individual has received very little coverage.

Should you wish to opt out of this system you can do so here.
