ENCOUNTERING CHRISTIANITY.
The Christian religion has shaped the culture and laws of Britain for all of our recorded history: the words we use, the names of our towns and cities, the way we think about one another, our understanding of the importance of human life, are all deeply bound up with the Christian faith.
The Christian Faith is centred on the idea of the Trinity: God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Christians believe and teach that God himself, in the person of Jesus Christ, once lived here on earth, died on the Cross and rose again, and that this is the central event of all human history.
In the 2024 Schools Bible Project, students are invited to fi nd out about Jesus Christ by studying the Gospels.
