Hodder Bible Commentary to be launched this July

Hodder and Stoughton is delighted to announce the launch of a major new Bible resource, drawing on expert contributors from around the world. The Hodder Bible Commentary is a comprehensive 50-volume Bible commentary series which aims to encourage a deepened knowledge and understanding of Scripture. The series explores the timeless message of the Bible while also applying it to the challenges of today’s world.

The first four titles in the Hodder Bible Commentary series will publish in July 2024, with 3 more publishing later in 2024. More Hodder Bible Commentary volumes will release in batches until 2028.

Series editor Lee Gatiss is the Director of Church Society and a lecturer at Union School of Theology in Wales. He has written or edited more than 30 books on the Bible, theology, church history and Anglicanism. He is a member of the editorial boards for the journals The Global Anglican and Studies in Puritanism and Piety, and was formerly editor of Foundations. He has published scholarly articles and over 100 reviews across a wide range of journals, mainly focusing on biblical commentaries and church history.
