UK gambling map of misery shows how betting shops cluster in poverty areas

The nation’s most vulnerable people are most at risk from the crack cocaine of gambling as fixed-odds betting terminals are clustered in impoverished parts of the country.

Below is the national map of misery that should convince the Government of the ­desperate need to clamp down on the crack cocaine of gambling .

Sports Minister Tracey Crouch, whose ­responsibilities include the betting industry, is to produce her report into high-stakes ­gaming machines at the end of next month.
