Christian Institute calls for week of prayer for the nation

Dear church leader,
Can I ask you to encourage your congregation to join with us for a week of prayer from Sunday 8 April to Saturday 14 April? A day-by-day guide is below. Use a different week if it’s more suitable for you – but please pray.
We urgently need to pray.
‘Equality’ laws are being used to compel Christians to lie. Christian pupils and teachers are being made to say things they don’t believe about what it means to be male and female.
We’ve had marvellous answers to prayer over the ‘equality oath’ and the state inspection of church youth groups. Now there is a new issue: state control over parents. There are plans to criminalise parents who smack their children. If campaigners win in Scotland and Wales they’ll move on to England.
Please also pray for us here at The Christian Institute, that we would have wisdom, energy and endurance as we seek to be a Christian influence on these issues.
