National Day of Prayer about Abortion 27 October

From IMAGE.

Image is a Christian charity concerned about abortion, euthanasia, human embryo experimentation and human cloning. We are evangelical and nondenominational. We believe that every person is made in the image of God, with a life of value from conception to death.

50 years.

Over 8 million abortions.

Over 10% of the population.

A National Day of Prayer about abortion is held each year on 27th October, the anniversary of the passing of the Abortion Act.

When the Act was passed 50 years ago assurances were given that abortion would be limited to a small number of exceptional cases.  Now we have virtually abortion on demand.

In 2016 202,469 babies were aborted in England, Wales and Scotland  – on average, over 500 each day.  98% of all abortions were “social abortions” and more than one third of these were repeat abortions.

Please join us in prayer.
