This disgraceful arrest: Sign the petition to clear Pastor Sherwood

A PETITION protesting at the shocking arrest of Pastor John Sherwood as he was preaching in public has so far gathered 28,000 signatures – and you can add yours here.
The petition is substantially based on the eyewitness account of the incident published by TCW on April 27 and is part of a burgeoning campaign to stop the 71-year-old clergyman facing formal charges.
In addition, a protest is being arranged for this coming Wednesday outside New Scotland Yard on London’s Victoria Embankment to highlight the injustice of the police action.
The petition demands that the Crown Prosecution Service, which still has the case under consideration, should not proceed with any charges.
Pastor Sherwood’s arrest has caused widespread outrage and as well as being highlighted in British newspapers is attracting interest from the US media.
